Student Nishu Azad, whose father was assaulted during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, is currently fighting a legal battle with the self-proclaimed accused Swatantra Bhardwaj, who admitted on camera, that he split Nishu's father's skull open. After police complaints and FIRs, court has ordered a one-day custody of Bhardwaj, which Nishu's counsel has questioned. In his statement following the court order, Nishu's counsel Rishav Ranjan called the decision "very strange.
