Hyderabad Police step up security for Ganesh festivities
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar issued the directions at a preparatory meeting with police officers of the rank of Sub-Inspector and above on Saturday. Officers were told to ensure visible policing and exercise restraint and patience while interacting with devotees and the public. Police will encourage organisers of high-footfall pandals to install barricades, queue lines and CCTV cameras.
