Two More Air India Pilots Fail Initial Dope Test Amid Mandatory Carrier-Wide Screening; More ‘High-Flyers’ Expected, Say Sources
At least two more Air India pilots have failed preliminary drug tests during the airline’s mandatory screening drive following the August 4 Phuket-Delhi turbulence incident. Both were de-rostered pending confirmatory tests. Air India has screened over 300 of around 5,000 pilots, while the AAIB continues probing the incident, including reported hydraulic failures.
