6 Lakh+ AK-203 Rifles, One Indian Ammo Supply Chain: Adani Defence Signs
Adani Defence & Aerospace has signed a five-year ammunition supply agreement with Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) for the AK-203 assault rifle programme, bringing the rifle's ammunition sourcing under an India-based supply arrangement. Under the agreement, Adani Defence will supply indigenous 7.62x39 mm small-calibre ammunition for the AK-203 over a period of five years.
