JNPA Begins Long-Haul Double-Stack DFC Operations To Improve EXIM Cargo Evacuation
JNPA commenced long-haul double-stack operations on the Dedicated Freight Corridor with its first rake carrying 360 TEUs of import cargo leaving the port on Friday. The port authority said the move will improve rail-based EXIM cargo evacuation, reduce transit times and dwell periods, and strengthen links with inland destinations through enhanced DFC connectivity for stakeholders.
