Delhi Police celebrates 'Raksha Ka Vachan' campaign across govt schools
New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS) The New Delhi District Police organised a special community outreach programme under its 'Raksha Ka Vachan' campaign at government schools across the district on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, officials said on Friday. The initiative, held on August 27, aimed to strengthen the bond of trust between police personnel and girl students while reaffirming the Delhi Police’s commitment to their safety, security, dignity and well-being. Senior police officers, including DCP Sachin Sharma, Additional DCP Anand Kumar Mishra and Additional DCP Jagdev Singh, participated in the programme and interacted with students at various schools. The officers conveyed the message that the Delhi Police remains committed to creating a safe and secure environment for women and girls and is accessible to them whenever they require assistance or support.
