Chennai: To ensure fair fares for passengers and protect the livelihoods of autorickshaw and taxi drivers, the Cumta (Chennai Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority) plans to introduce a digital-meter-based app. The announcement was made by housing and urban development department minister B Rajkumar in the state assembly on Friday.
