Mumbai MACT Orders BMC To Pay ₹7.58 Lakh To Accident Victim Over Unmarked Garbage Compactor On Highway
Mumbai MACT has directed BMC to pay Rs 7.58 lakh with 7.5% annual interest to accident victim Govinda Shankar Bandre. The Tribunal held BMC liable after his motorcycle crashed into a stationary garbage compactor on the Eastern Express Highway in 2018, finding that adequate warning and safety measures were absent.
