Nepal Flood Disaster: Maharashtra Begins DNA Profiling To Identify Deceased
The Maharashtra Disaster Management Department has asked relatives of citizens who died in the Nepal disaster to provide DNA samples on September 3. The process will be conducted at forensic laboratories in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. At least two close relatives must visit with identity proof and photographs to help establish the identities of the deceased through DNA profiling.
