The Teachers I Remember Have Almost Nothing to Do With My Grades
There are very few things I can recall about school with great clarity. The few things I can though, is my spot in the front row, reams and reams of ant-sized note scribbles and an almost comical number of report cards. I remember being very good at school in the most obvious way you can take it. I'll even go so far as to say that I was a textbook child for the Indian education system; I embraced the rat race without ever questioning it. Growing up in India, you think what could possibly be better for a child than being a 'topper'? Well apparently a whole lot more.
