Navi Mumbai: Over 1,300 Tonnes Of Waste Removed From Mangroves In 6 Years, 1.30 Lakh Volunteers Join Clean-Up Campaign
The Environment Life Foundation has removed over 1,300 tonnes of waste from mangrove and coastal areas in six years, with more than 1.30 lakh volunteers participating. The latest clean-up was held at Karave Jetty on Independence Day. Founder Dharmesh Barai said continued waste inflow remains a concern and urged citizens to dispose of waste responsibly.
