Former British-Israeli Hamas hostage married in Tel Aviv. Emily Damari, 30, was held in Hamas captivity for more that 15 months. She was shot in the leg and hand in the attack, losing two of her fingers. Couple met after Damari's release in 2025, and have been engaged since January 2026. Their wedding was attended by several of Damari’s fellow former hostages. Emily Damari married partner Dami Amit in a ceremony held in Tel Aviv on Thursday.
