Navi Mumbai International Airport received its first direct factory delivery of a new commercial aircraft when Akasa Air’s 41st Boeing 737 MAX 8, VT-YBR, landed at 4am on Thursday. The aircraft completed a three-leg journey from Seattle via Reykjavik and Cairo before reaching NMIA.
